153rd Missionary Expedition

153rd Missionary Expedition SDB and 145th Missionary Expedition FMA

In this month of October dedicated to the mission, we remember the 153rd SDB missionary expedition and the 145th FMA missionary expedition. The celebration of this event took place on the 25th of September 2022 at the Basilica of Mary Help of Christians, Valdocco (Turin). Among these new missionaries, there are several from our Africa-Madagascar Region.

“The peoples not yet evangelised have been the particular object of Don Bosco's solicitude and apostolic ardour. They continue to provoke our zeal and keep it alive: we recognise in missionary work an essential feature of our Congregation”. (C. 30)
